Forza Horizon 6 – PC
Help with setting up HDR in Forza Horizon 6 on PC.
The game does not output the max luminance you setup on the in-game peak brightness slider, unless you have a display capable of 800 nits or less.
Below I have shown what the game will output in its brightest highlights (most of the time) at the listed in-game peak brightness and paper white settings.
- First number is what you setup on the in-game Peak Brightness slider.
- Second number is what you setup on the in-game Content Paper White slider.
- Third number is what the game will output in the brightest highlights most of the time.
When you increase paper white the midtone brightness increases, but the lower shadows also increase a bit. We unfortunately can not adjust shadows independently, so it will have to be a choice between what peak brightness you want, how bright the game must be to you overall (midtones) and what black levels you prefer.
I hope this will help you setup HDR better😊
