Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - RenoDX HDR
by HDRgameAnalysis

Based on the original Spider-Man 2 RenoDX fix by Musa.
RenoDX framework by ShortFuse.

WHAT IT DOES
- Gamma Fix (default 2.40, measured against the PS5 Pro): fixes the PC version's lifted
  shadows and mid-tones.
- Removes the ~1200-nit peak cap: highlights reach your display's peak brightness
(Tone Mapper "Exponential Rolloff", the RenoDX method from the Red Dead Redemption mod).
- Night Black Fix (0-100, default 50): removes the raised black level at night, fully (100)
or partly. 50 keeps some shadow detail (about 0.01 nits). 0 = the game's original look.
Takes effect after changing the time of day in the game menu, or after reloading.
- Standard RenoDX sliders: peak brightness, game brightness, UI brightness, exposure,
highlights, shadows, contrast, saturation and more.

REQUIREMENTS
- ReShade 6.8.0 or newer WITH add-on support (the "add-on" / full version of ReShade),
  installed for Spider-Man2.exe (DirectX 12).
- HDR enabled in Windows and in the game.

INSTALL
1. Install ReShade with add-on support for Spider-Man 2 (DirectX 10/11/12).
2. Copy renodx-spiderman2.addon64 into the game folder (next to Spider-Man2.exe).
3. Start the game, press Home to open ReShade, and open the RenoDX tab.
Remove any other RenoDX Spider-Man 2 addon first (only one may be in the folder).

NOTES
- "Vanilla" tone mapper = the game's own tone mapping, still with Gamma Fix and Night Black Fix.
For the untouched game: set Gamma Fix 0 and Night Black Fix 0.
- Gamma Fix and some settings are shown in the Advanced settings mode.
