Cyberpunk 2077 – RenoDX
The RenoDX mod for Cyberpunk 2077 was updated a month ago.
I tried it and it looks amazing.
It fixes the black level floor issue.
It also makes Cyberpunk's colors look a lot more natural with colors being more distinct from each other. It gives the game a realistic/natural look, with more depth and detail. The more natural HDR looks the more I get immersed into it. It's simply closer to what our brains are used to.
RenoDX probably does a lot more behind the scenes, but this is what I notice the most.
Not everything is perfect. RenoDX has a setting for adjustment paper white or overall game brightness. It's way too bright so set it significantly lower. I use 276 nits compared to 343 nits I usually would set it to.
I think the game's own HDR does a better job at adjusting paper white. It even does it automatically.
I think Cyberpunk's HDR looks great and impactful, even without this mod, if you fix the black level raise on your own.
